1. What we collect
We collect your name, email address, and household data you create within the app (expenses, lists, meals, calendar events, messages). If you connect Google Calendar, we access calendar events on your behalf with your explicit permission.
2. How we use your data
Your data is used solely to provide the Heimma service — sharing household information with members of your household, syncing calendar events, and personalising your experience. We do not sell your data to third parties.
3. Google Calendar integration
When you connect Google Calendar, Heimma requests access to read and create calendar events. This access is used only to display and add events within the app. You can revoke access at any time from your Google Account settings. myaccount.google.com/permissions.
4. Data storage
Data is stored in a secure PostgreSQL database hosted by Neon. Authentication is handled by Clerk. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
5. Data sharing
Your data is shared only with members of your household within the app. We do not share your personal information with advertisers or other third parties.
6. Account deletion
You can delete your account at any time from Settings. Deleting your account permanently removes your personal data from our systems.
